How You'll Rock the Role
- Provides support in maintaining and assigning the Creative Team’s workload and schedules
- Coordinates and onboards freelancer set-ups and invoicing with accounting and legal
- Assists with system logins and creating accounts (Monday.com, Aprimo)
- Coordinate separations to in-house printers and freelance separators
- Proof-reads creative presentations, technical art files, date backs, designs, and any other creative materials
- Quality control and compare approved mockups to completed seps before sampling initiates
- Supports the Creative Team by collaborating with Brand Managers and Production to streamline projects with clear details before development begins
- Handle and troubleshoot any notes from Brand Manager/Designers with printers/separators, including managing sample approvals on-press
- Updates freelancer master lists and connects with freelance talent
- Prepares products and samples for client meetings
- Supports Creative Directors administratively
- Schedules creative meetings
- Plans team events and tradeshows
- Assist with the maintenance and ongoing improvement of departmental systems and processes alongside the creative operations manager
- Maintain and organize database of band/artist assets
- Prepare tech packs and design files for print and production across Bravado’s extensive roster in Tour, Retail, and eComm
- Review separations, pantone call outs, sizing, and all details before art files are shared with printers and outside vendors
- Edit and create thorough tech packs for external vendor consumption
- Size and set up files for hard goods and accessories
- Collaborates with Creative Leads on project prep tasks such as researching artists, pulling product templates, and sourcing products
- Work with clients, technical art, and in-house design team to support the creative vision of a project, understanding design guidelines and requirements
- Make design adjustments to art files as needed for exceptional quality and best success in final completion
- Resize existing graphic art files for required print/production specifications
- Adapt and spec artwork for Print on Demand jobs
- Communicates basic design briefs to graphic designers (freelance or in-house)
- Mocks up artwork on products
- Share links to approved art files, seps, mockups, and presentations
What We're Looking For
- 4 + years of relevant experience in an office environment
- Strong proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Apple products (Keynote), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and project management systems (Monday.com)
- Experience with various forms of print and pre-production process’, including screen printing four-color and digital, is ideal
- Fan of and strong knowledge of music, trends, fashion, and design
- Ability to collaborate with key internal team members, such as product & creative development, legal, finance, brand management, and production teams
- Must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines
- Exceptional written, listening, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, time management skills, and systems thinking
- Consistency with follow-through, and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful, possessing a positive “can do” attitude
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Fashion, or Communication Arts preferred
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $23.44/hour - $31.25/hour
