We are seeking a Temporary Inventory Coordinator to support our merchandise operations by ensuring accurate inventory counts, compliance with packing and labeling standards, and on-time processing in coordination with our third-party warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience in warehouse receiving and inventory management.

How You'll Rock the Role

  • Track and report on inventory accuracy, stock levels, and receiving status to internal teams.
  • Assist in resolving inventory variances by reconciling warehouse reports with internal inventory data.
  • Support cycle counts and periodic inventory reconciliations as needed.
  • Conduct inventory audits to verify quantities received against packing lists and system records.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly labeled, packed, and organized according to company compliance standards.
  • Work with warehouse partners to ensure all received inventory is systemically ingested and available for fulfillment in a timely manner.
  • Verify and ensure correct SKU labeling and barcoding to avoid discrepancies in inventory management systems.
  • Escalate any discrepancies, damages, or non-compliance issues to the Operations Manager for resolution.

What We're Looking For 

  • Experience: 1–3 years of inventory management, or logistics experience (merchandise or retail industry preferred).
  • MS Office Skills
  • Experience with inventory transactions
  • SOX Compliance knowledge
  • Strong understanding of inventory control processes and SKU tracking.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) is a plus.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed during inventory tasks.
  • Occasional overtime based on inventory demands.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $19.76/hour - $26.35/hour
